‘Synthon is a Dutch pharmaceutical company which develops and manufactures generic human medicines. Expanding its business activities, Synthon is also engaged in the research and development of biotechnology-based medicines.
Synthon’s head office is in Nijmegen, the Netherlands, and the company has six affiliates abroad. The company employs around 900 staff of whom 300 work in Nijmegen.
Synthon products are licensed out to third parties and are marketed worldwide.

Drs. ing. Marc Camfferman studied Polytechnics and Business Administration/Management. He learned the profession of recruitment at a small recruitment office as a consultant. Since June 2008 he built up the recruitment at Synthon. Synthon is growing fast and needed a professional recruitment process to ensure good qualified people were selected properly and hired in the end.
