We begin this interactive workshop with the network model to provide a framework. After that we go through the essentials of networking. We then do an exercise around ‘the first impression’. A first impression is decisive for the follow-up of every contact, whether business or private. It is important to know what you can control in a first impression and what cannot be controlled. And, above all, what do you say at such a first contact, after having introduced yourself? It is a good thing to know a lot of people, but do these people actually know you? In this exercise you learn to transmit and receive "people information". This helps you to remember people more easely and….people will remember you better as well. |
