Frans van den Braak received his BSc in Chemical Engineering at Breda University in 1993. Until today he also obtained post-bachelor degrees in Control Engineering and Business Administration, and a Lean Six Sigma Black Belt. He started his career at Diosynth (API manufacturing) as a process engineer. Subsequently, he worked at Fluor (Engineering), Janssen Pharmaceuticals (API manufacturing) and legacy OBS (Pharmaceutical Operations) as a project engineer / manager on various type of projects (e.g. capital investment, site transfer and development). His current position at MSD is Senior Project Manager with the API/BioTech the Netherlands. |

After a MSc-degree in Human Nutrition Sciences at Wageningen University Susanne Leij obtained her PhD on liver metabolism and weight loss in cancer patients at the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences at the Erasmus University Rotterdam in 1998. She continued in clinical research at Numico Research Wageningen performing clinical trials in and development of nutritional supplements for various indications. In 2002 she joined the department of Global Clinical Development at Organon N.V. (currently MSD) as Clinical Research Scientist and has been responsible for phase 1 to phase 3b trials in immunology and neuroscience. |
