Abstract

In this presentation Ankie Kreuwels will present more detailed information about DSM What is DSM? Were do we stand for? And what can you do at DSM.

Further, Milena explain her background, mention her encounter with DSM for the first time, give details about the DSM Biotechnology Center where she works and complete this with her daily activities.

Milena addresses DSM Biotechnology Center as a main R&D center for Life Sciences with other satellite R&Ds around the world. She tells about its mission to be part of innovations on biotechnology solutions sustained by the force of many scientists working on developments of products and processes. She gives examples of products made by use of biotechnology and details about the expertise needed to make them.

Curriculum Vitae

Ankie has studied Organic Chemistry and joined DSM in 2001. After working in a variety of R&D functions within DSM she switches to HR in June 2007 and became Coordinator Education, where she was responsible for education and labor market issues. As of the 1st of January Ankie joined the recruitment team and is responsible for a number of Global Recruitment Projects and developing functional excellence in the various regions.

She has a direct link with the operational recruiters in her department.

Milena studied biochemical engineering and biotechnology at the faculty of technology and Metallurgy in Belgrade, Serbia. After this she did a professional Doctorate in Engineering, Process and Product Design at the TU Eindhoven. Via this she came in contact with DSM and since 2010 she is working as Assistant Scientist- Process Design engineer at DSM biotechnology center in Delft.
